Throughout most of the existence of easypeasy.com we have tried to offer a cheap, reliable internet shopping experience. To date this has been provided through amazon.com, who have continually offered great value and great customer service.

We've moved from very basic product placement through to deeper integration with their ECS platform (ecommerce services) - allowing us to integrate the shopping experience with some of our value-added content, such as product reviews.

Amazon continues to make improvements to its ECS platform, but the downside of this is that every once in a while at easypeasy.com we have to update or re-write our integration; and this is proving to be something that takes time that is in short supply.

In line with much of the IT industry, easypeasy.com has opted to move its Amazon integration to a hosted service (i.e. a paid-for service run by a 3rd party) on a trial basis. Although, at the moment, the look and feel is not identical, over time this will improve; and moreover, there will be immediate benefits in terms of the level of integration with Amazon - and importantly, this will be kept up-to-date without our intervention. All-in-all it seems a good plan for customers and easypeasy.com and I certainly hope you agree.

Our new store has its own subdomain at buy-it-cheap.easypeasy.com - it does exactly what it says on the tin!
