The pidye t-shirt website actually burgeoned from the love of mathematics and the number PI of its creator and owner Josh Cummings. The passion is self-evident in the beatiful design of both the website, and more importantly the t-shirts and clothing. In his own words he says:

Though many say that mission statements are corny, I will tell you the goals that I have in mind with creating and publicizing this website. First, I believe one secret to happiness is doing something that you love, and so I took one thing that I love, and I've created this lovely website. Second, my pi-in-the-sky hope is to promote excellence in mathematics. This year we held a t-shirt design contest with a local high school, and my hope is to get a big enough name that we can do really significant things for math programs everywhere. Third, geekiness loves company, right? May I and this site be a companion to you in your long journey through life. :)
