The 'WWF' Musicals

Four of our musicals - Yanomamo, African Jigsaw, Ocean World and Arabica - were commissioned by the World Wide Fund for Nature. These works are part of the WWF's programme of environmental education through music.

WWF benefits directly from performances by receiving a share of all royalties and hire fees.

The musicals are suitable for performance by primary and secondary schools, and ideal for cross-curricular projects.

Each musical provides a full evening's entertainment and can be sung as a concert work, or dramatised with mime and dance. Shortened versions or extracts can be presented easily and successfully. Schools wishing to present dramatic performances must apply to the publisher in advance to obtain the appropriate licence. The scoring for each work is virtually identical, consisting of choir, soloists, narrator and stage band.
